To The Wolves
To The Wolves is a melodic metalcore band from Almere/Lelystad, The Netherlands.
Influenced by bands like: Intervals, Noveli...sts, While She Sleeps and This Or The Apocalypse, To The Wolves brings you songs that take you from aggressive leads to stellar ambiences and catchy chorusses, only to knock you back down with bone-crushing breakdowns.
The band was founded in June 2015 with ex-members from Merge As One and Prevent The Fall, after which they did two try-out shows. They decided to take a step back to write and record an EP before diving into the scene. Their debut EP "Morals" is out now!!
Dictated
Dictated is a brutal death metal band founded by the furious female guitar tandem Yessica Otten and Sonja Schuringa.
In 2010, these two ladies put their passion for metal to action and founded the band. After writing their fierce riffs, looking for fitting musicians and setting up punishing rehearsal sessions, they independently released their first album „Summary of Retribution". With their debut, Dictated has been grinding down stages throughout Europe since 2012. In the 4 years since the bands’ inception, they’ve been to Ireland, Belgium, Scotland, England, Germany, France, Italy & Portugal and have shared the stage with bands like Origin, Psycroptic, Suffocation, Hail of Bullets and many more. The first album and the impressive live shows attracted attention from renowned metal musicians such as Henri Sattler (God Dethroned) and Jason Keyser (Origin) who offered their talents for the creation of the second album.
Henri enslaved the ladies into writing at their utmost. His experience was put to good use by harnessing the power of their riffs into solid arrangements. He also asked drummer Michiel van der Plicht to join to raise the overall level of the band. And although Yorick Keijzer was the vocalist that they were after for the new material, they couldn’t resist an offer from Jason Keyser to do guest vocals on one song. In September 2013, Dictated entered Studio Soundlodge to record the new album. A solid sense of humor, a tenuous grip on sanity, determination, and willpower led to Dictated's second effort: "The Deceived.” Renowned metal label Metal Blade Records was immediately impressed and asked them to join their roster.
Now with a line up that is stronger than ever and songs that are even more brutal than before, Dictated is extremely eager to show their musical growth and to gain notoriety with people that haven’t seen or heard them yet.
Jeremiah
A young metal band hailing from Kampen, Netherlands. Nothing more, nothing less.
Like all the other bands we are here to le...t you listen to our music and play at shows as much as we can. And thats why we started our band with 5 friends. Get everything you need, put it in the blender, and what-a-ya-know! IT BLENDS! We make metal like we want it to sound. And we like bands as Lamb of God, Limp Bizkit, While She Sleeps, System of a Down and Killswitch Engaged.
Just give our music a listen and let us know what you think of it!
Apophys
Apophys has signed to Metal Blade Records and plans to release their debut album, “Prime Incursion,” in 2015.
The band boa...sts members of renowned Dutch bands including: God Dethroned, Prostitute Disfigurement, Detonation and Toxocara. Apophys formed in 2012 and have since been surgically carving their path in the modern death metal scene.
Apophys prioritizes song structure above technicality, and strives to become part of the new standard in death metal. Response froms fans to the 2013 demo material was overwhelmingly positive and the album promises to be one of the best technical death metal debuts of 2015.
Apophys [ah/po/fihs]
“A word derrived from Apophis, the near-Earth asteroid that caused a brief period of concern because initial observations indicated a probability that it would hit Earth on April 13, 2029. A collision of immeasurable proportions.
“The thought of our planet floating through a galactic minefield makes me think about how frail our existence really is. And where some might consider this to be a negative and demotivating thought; I used this realisation to create something truly apocalyptic. A full self sufficient Death Metal machine in which I as a person am frail, but as part of this more powerful than ever. This is Apophys. We are coming.” -Kevin Quilligan
